In 1994, a genocide was perpetrated against the Tutsis in Rwanda. This genocide was tried by a court: the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, the ICTR. For the first time in history, this court convicted individuals for the crimes of genocide. The crimes of genocide are criminal acts committed with the intention of destroying a group in whole or in part.

This documentary received the  Wernaers Prize (FNRS) for research and the dissemination of knowledge.
