On the afternoon of June 5, strong convection weather occurred in some areas of Qinyuan County, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds, which caused a fire from lightning strikes, causing a forest fire from Duanjiagou to Xinhong Village in Xinyi Village, Jiaokou Township.
Under the guidance of the Shanxi Provincial Emergency Management Department and the Provincial Forest and Grass Bureau, the Changzhi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government unified command and dispatch, and the Qinyuan County Party Committee and County Government immediately launched an emergency plan to organize the rescue.
