As a result of the collapse of the mountain, huge mudslides drained from the mountain ditch behind the school, flooding the school’s new sports ground, public toilets and old basketball court in front of the teaching building.   Since the early hours of June 6th, the rainstorms in Lizhou Yao Township, Tianlin County have suddenly dropped. As of June 6th, at 8:00, the maximum rainfall reached 172.2 millimeters, which caused a series of disasters. A large number of debris flows were rushed into the primary and secondary schools in Lizhou Yao Township and villages such as Heping, Baida, Fuxiang, Laoshan, and Pingbu. A total of 11 houses (including 3 Weiyangtun collapses in Pingbu Village) were collapsed. In the early morning of the 6th, more than 400 people were evacuated in the whole township, and farmland and other farmland were flooded by more than 2,000 mu.
