The Egyptian actor Karim Kassem revealed that he had contracted the new Corona virus, Covid-19, about three weeks ago, pointing out that he had contacted all his contacts with his colleagues and friends and told them what he had been exposed to take care of.
Qasim said that he lives with his father, 79, and in light of his need to work, they agreed to leave the house in order not to jeopardize the safety of his father, pointing out that he had finished filming his last works at the end of April and then quarantined himself in his house until symptoms began to appear on him on 17 May a severe headache and heat, and then the symptoms multiplied on the fourth or fifth day as he felt he was about to die.
He added that he began to recover later, then made a swab in a private hospital, and that he was taking fever-reducing medications, and decided to isolate himself completely.
He stressed the need to support those infected with Coronavirus because the psychological aspect is very important, pointing out that there are friends who have gathered around him and provided him with support and care, while others abandoned him and he will not forget their position as well.
