On June 5, a truck full of more than 2,000 live chickens broke down in the Luoyang section of Lianhuo Expressway. Due to the rising temperature, most of the live chickens on the verge of heat stroke were dying. Henan Luoyang Mengjin Fire Rescue Brigade immediately dispatched after receiving help.

According to the scene, the commander immediately issued an order to spray the different parts of the vehicle with a water gun using flowering water mist to cool the whole body. After more than 10 minutes to "shower rain" for the chicken, the chicken on the truck gradually eased from the high temperature. Then firefighters decontaminated equipment, personnel, and vehicles and returned to the team.

It is understood that the truck departed from Sanmenxia and transported 2,000 live chickens to Wuzhi, Jiaozuo. When passing through Luoyang, it broke down due to a clutch failure. After rush repairs, it left the anchoring site at around 8:00. The driver's master said that in general live poultry transportation, he dare not stop halfway, and this time he broke down. He was very grateful to the rescuers for cooling the chicken, which greatly reduced the loss during his cargo transportation. (Reporter Li Chaoqing correspondent Guo Shengyang)
