A private land that has become a shared garden, a place of exchange, meetings, discovery, then an association, a refuge and a place to live. Today, the vegetable garden has become and is still turning into an eco-system where the inhabitants of Mesnil Theribus, the village of Oise where it is established, meet, learn, share, move forward together. A beautiful story started with a gesture of sharing, a boost of luck and common desires.

A land and desires

Michèle had the land, Anne-Marie wanted to see the Mesnil Theribus, their village located north of Paris become a living village where the inhabitants exchange, know each other, and do together. A public meeting later, the ideas were started and the project of a vegetable garden in which could participate the people of the village who wished it. For market gardening, but not exclusively. The soup was the starting point, a place where the skills of each other could be expressed and exchanged. A permaculture garden - Anne-Marie had already acquired experience in this culture, which without disturbing anything takes care of the earth, because the earth is the mother.

From a garden an ecosystem

The association has grown and now has around sixty members, with very diverse profiles, but with an interest in the land and this "place" of life. Among the members are farmers, beekeepers, market gardeners, artisans, city dwellers, curious people, enthusiasts, and for the past few months a landscaper whose enthusiasm and skills have given a boost and a new lease of life. to the project. Over the weeks, the garden becomes an eco-system, a place of life-size happiness and experimentation. A living, changing project, in the image of nature which it reflects.

To follow the project, nothing could be simpler: Le jardin des partages is on Facebook

Recipe
Eat raw, eat healthy. I pick and eat in my garden. Recipe from the sharing garden, a quick salad from green leaves that grow before our eyes, in the smallest corner, next to salads or more famous herbs! Among the herbaceous plant species, the Tetragon or the aptly named, Garden rock, a kind of spinach and more resistant winter salads. It develops very easily in sunny places in particular. Vegetables almost forgotten but not only ... cabbage, for example, with multiple varieties: cabus, kale, Chinese, red or white, to be finely cut and accompanied by a few dried tomatoes and sprinkled with sunflower seeds, flax, sesame. Finally, lay a poached egg straight out of the chicken coop. Enjoy your meal !
