The Local Police and the Nature Protection Service of the Civil Guard (Seprona) are looking for a crocodile sighted in the Pesqueruela area, in the Valladolid area of Simancas, Efe sources from the 112 Emergency Service and the Municipal police.
It was around 12 noon when the Simancas Local Police received the notice that some people saw the reptile yesterday, and today, another citizen has alerted that they had also observed it, as well as a Local Police agent, who has detailed to Efe who had also seen it
Apparently, it is a crocodile of about a meter and a half, which now a dozen troops are trying to locate and capture.
They have cordoned off several areas to prevent people from accessing the area located on the Pesqueruela road, a triangle at the confluence of the Pisuerga river with the Duero, which is approximately twenty kilometers from the capital Valladolid.
The police consider as one of the hypotheses that the crocodile has arrived in the area after being abandoned by someone.
