  As of 24:00 on June 4, Chengdu has reported a total of 183 confirmed cases, with a total of 163 discharges and 3 deaths. The remaining 17 confirmed cases imported abroad are being isolated for treatment in designated hospitals. There are currently 4 cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, which are undergoing centralized isolation medical observation.

  There are currently 258 close contacts in the city who are undergoing centralized isolation medical observation.

  Diagnosed case: Male, 35 years old, from Shenzhen, Guangdong. He went to Egypt to work in early February. On May 22, he took flight 3U8392 from Cairo, Egypt, and arrived in Chengdu on May 23. The body temperature was normal at the time of entry, and there were no abnormal symptoms. The customs took samples and transferred them to a centralized isolation point. On May 24, due to the positive detection of the new coronavirus nucleic acid, those diagnosed with asymptomatic infection were transferred to a designated hospital for isolation treatment. Due to fever and abnormal chest CT examination results, it was revised as a confirmed case on June 4.

  The case was transferred directly from the airport to the isolation point and designated treatment facility without a place to stay in the city. The transfer vehicle and the room where the patient stayed at the isolation point have been terminally disinfected.
