The results of our fact-finding investigation on suspicion that Mr. A, a reporter from MBC, was trying to join the so-called'telegram n room', which deals with illegal sexual exploitation videos.

MBC said on the 4th, "In the course of the investigation by the Fact-finding Committee, we confirmed that the subjects of the investigation did not follow the usual reporting procedures, and we could not confirm any evidence to prove the subjects' own statements that they were for the purpose of reporting." .

MBC was reported to have conducted an investigation on April 28 by establishing the'Factual Research Committee on Suspected Sexual Exploitation Cases' involving two outside experts. As a method of investigation, we conducted interviews and written investigations of the survey subjects, listening to related persons' statements, forensic investigations of company-paid notebooks, and checking the Google timeline for major dates.

However, MBC reported that reporter A was unable to investigate by stating that the personally paid corporate mobile phone used to join the'Dr. Bang' was lost.

The fact-finding committee said, "Although there were limitations in which there was no compulsory investigation right for the subject, the reporter in question concluded a membership contract through remittance to the doctor's room after confirming the main facts and discussing through three full meetings. I thought that it was difficult to trust the statement that I had joined for the purpose of coverage.”

MBC said, "Based on the above-mentioned investigation report, we will open a personnel committee for future investigation targets and take measures prescribed by regulations such as disciplinary action." "We will make every effort to prevent recurrence, and we promise to do our best to fulfill the obligations of public broadcasting."
