A few hours before the broadcast of the final of the Koh-Lanta show on Friday on TF1, its producer Alexia Laroche-Joubert, is designing on Europe 1 the device set up for the final episode of the 26th season. On the program: absence of the public, barrier gestures and reconfiguration of the stage.

INTERVIEW

With the deconfinement, what will the final of Koh-Lanta broadcast on Friday evening on TF1 look like? At the microphone of Philippe Vandel on Europe 1, Alexia Laroche-Joubert, president of Adventure Line Productions, the company which notably produces Koh-Lanta and Fort-Boyard, gave a preview of this particular final on Friday.

A candidate "stuck in Martinique"

As usual, this final of the 26th season of Koh-Lanta will be broadcast live at 9 p.m. But this time, this "crucial moment", according to Alexia Laroche-Joubert will take place in conditions adapted to deconfinement. The producer warns: there will be "no public" but all the adventurers will be present, "with the exception of Benoît who is stranded in Martinique".

Other measures: "extremely strict barrier gestures" and a new development of the plateau, located at Plaine Saint-Denis, in the Paris region. "We have reconfigured the board so that we have more than one meter between each participant," announces Alexia Laroche-Joubert.

Masks and makeup kit

Behind the scenes, teams and adventurers will not escape the health rules either. "Everyone is masked except the candidates", who will also be "separated in their boxes", underlines Alexia Laroche-Joubert. The production team has also been reduced and a "makeup kit" will be used for each candidate.

The producer wants to be reassuring: "This device has been validated by a company specializing in the management of the Covid-19 so we know that we are going there serenely," said Alexia Laroche-Joubert. For this special final, Gabriel Attal, Secretary of State to the Minister of National Education and Youth, will also make an appearance in a "special little magneto", according to the producer.
