The 14-year-old singer lives in the Alpes-Maritimes - Sylvie Bessou "Die Frau"

  • Azurean Carla Lazzari releases her first album this Friday.
  • The teenager wants to pass messages to her generation and especially on the protection of the environment.

She already blew up the view counters with the clip of Bim bam toi . It also offered a fifth place to France in the Eurovision junior song contest. At 14, the Azurean Carla Lazzari is already performing together.

And the young singer from Chateauneuf-Villevieille (Alpes-Maritimes), revealed by The voice kids, goes one step further. This Friday comes out The Other Me , his very first album.

Eurovision and now an album, everything goes very quickly for you…

Yes, I still can't believe it. We entered the studio just two weeks after the competition in Poland. And we were able to finish the tapes in mid-March, just before the confinement. We continued to refine it from a distance.

"The other me" has thirteen titles ... How did you choose these songs?

We really worked a lot to make it look like me. It is tailor-made. I wanted to tell about my teenage life. There are all emotions. Bim bam toi was super light. With The Other Me , the second single, I also talk about all the warnings I receive. In the album, I also speak a lot of love, the love that I like to share with all my loved ones. But also the love that I have not necessarily lived yet. There are also songs about things that are very close to my heart.

Like "Planet for rent"?

Yes. I am speaking to my generation so that, all together, we can make the planet better. I really feel inspired by Greta Thunberg. She has a lot of courage to fight like this.

How has your life changed since all these last experiences?

They recognize me in the street, people come to see me. At first, it was surprising. But the support from the fans is really incredible. I feel very lucky. At school too, it's different. But I keep my feet on the ground. It’s my motto. I know it can also stop.
