Sun shed through the leaves in front of the house, daughter and son frolicking in the sun, and parents took care of the vegetable field in front of the door. This time is the longest time for 40-year-old Xie Jun with the children.

Xie Jun, who has been retired for more than 10 years, lives in Jiangxia. After the outbreak, he took the initiative to volunteer at an isolation point in Jiangxia. Unfortunately, he was infected with new coronary pneumonia and was admitted to the shelter. Just a little bit better, he once again became a volunteer, doing "translation" to Chinese medical staff.

Xie Jun, who is recuperating at home, is collating his poems created in the square cabin hospital. "The next step is to make money and buy some furniture for the new home so that the whole family can live in the new home in the second half of the year."

Take the initiative to "translate" to the Chinese medicine nurses in the shelter hospital

On the eve of the Spring Festival, the epidemic broke out.

"I am a veteran, and I should stand up at this time." On February 10, he came to the community to actively sign up as a volunteer. The street asked if he could go to the isolation point as a volunteer. Xie Jun was only on the phone Replying to the two words "I'm going!" He came to the isolation point without his family and was responsible for taking care of the 40 isolation personnel who were watching here.

After 8 days, after performing nucleic acid testing on all personnel at the isolation point, Xie Jun's test result was positive.

Soon after receiving treatment in the hospital, his condition soon improved. The doctor diagnosed him as a mild patient. Taking into account the tightness of the hospital bed, Xie Jun offered to move to the square cabin hospital. On February 29, after being examined by the hospital, he was transferred to Jiangxia Dahuashan Fangcai Hospital for treatment.

In the sheltered hospital, Xie Jun, who was unable to relax, took the initiative to become a volunteer. "My body recovered better. The medical staff who assisted Han treated us well and often gave us their own fruits. They work very hard every day, and I want to help." Xie Jun told the Changjiang Daily reporter that he saw water stains on the ground near the drinking fountain, so he took a mop and wiped the water stains clean; some medical staff distributed materials, He also took the initiative to help. The medical staff of Xie Jun's ward is from the Jiangsu Medical Team. With thick protective clothing, the medical staff sometimes cannot hear the patient's Wuhan dialect.

Driven by Xie Jun, many patients have helped the medical staff with him. The director of the shelter hospital noticed Xie Jun’s spontaneous actions and told him that it would be better to organize all of you and set up a volunteer hospital team. After the news came out, many patients signed up to join, Xie Jun organized a 12-person volunteer team.

Every morning they take the initiative to clean up the hygiene in the shelter cabin hospital, and in the afternoon organize everyone to practice Baduanjin and Tai Chi together. Some patients are very anxious and often ask when they can be discharged in the group. Xie Jun will take the initiative to find comfort in the past. "Sometimes, I persuaded as a patient to be more effective than a doctor."

Writing poems to express gratitude and medical staff agreed to go with the Yangtze River Bridge

Later, Xie Jun was transferred from Jiangxia Dahuashan Fang Cabin Hospital to Hubei Maternal and Child Health Hospital Optics Valley Campus. This transfer made him a little flustered. "Many of the patients who were hospitalized with me have recovered and discharged, but I have been transferred to hospital repeatedly, and the distance from my home is getting farther and farther away."

After arriving at the Optics Valley Campus of the Provincial Maternity and Child Health Hospital, he walked into the hospital and saw the slogan of the Rocket Army posted on the wall of the nurse's station. Upon questioning, they learned that they were from the original Lanzhou Military Region. Xie Jun felt a cordial heartfelt heart and a sense of security in his heart. "This is our own'old army'. It's like seeing a loved one and instantly feeling that I have a strong backing." Xie Jun said.

Xie Jun, who was idle at the Optics Valley Hospital, began to write poems to express his gratitude to the Chinese medical team. When he learned that the ward of the Jiangsu Medical Team of the Jiangxia District People's Hospital was cleared, he excitedly wrote, "A white Su Daqiang, who shed tears to go home to Jingchu. The magical hand rejuvenates the true feelings and the gratitude will never be forgotten."

On March 16, before leaving the hospital, Xie Jun wrote a poem to thank the doctor who aided Han in the former Lanzhou Military Region. The small family cares for everyone and overcomes the evil. It's just around the corner. I only feel that I don't know the true face, but I remember the land with kindness." This poem was sent to the circle of friends by his duty doctor Song Xiaojun. The picture is before Xie Jun was discharged from the hospital.

Xie Jun also agreed with doctors Song Xiaojun and Zhang Li that the medical staff will come to Wuhan to visit the Yangtze River Bridge and taste hot noodles. The medical staff also invited Xie Jun to return to Gansu, where he once served, to walk along the Yellow River Bridge and eat chicken.

"Let the whole family move into a new home in the second half of the year"

On April 1, Xie Jun was finally discharged home, and it had been 50 days since he left home.

After returning home, Xie Jun was still very careful. After 28 days of isolation at home, he walked out of the house for the first time. "On April 28, I went out for the first time for a walk. That day I was very excited and walked the road at my door twice from beginning to end." Xie Jun said, feeling like he was reborn.

At home, Xie Jun rewrote the poems he wrote during treatment again, most of which were dedicated to the angel in white. He also recorded in his notebook where he had been in the past 50 days and what he had done. He said: "I want to record my experience in the epidemic. This is my rebirth history."

Xie Jun is engaged in security work and usually spends little time with his children. After being discharged from the hospital this time, he has been recuperating at home. After the child came back, he accompanied the child every day. "This month is the longest time after the child was born. The epidemic made me feel the value of my family and family."

Along the way, Xie Jun has been tossing and turning, but he is still very optimistic: "After this epidemic, I will not be able to overcome any difficulties in the future." This experience of defeating the virus also gave him hope for his future life. " This year we have to work harder, save a good amount of money, add some furniture to the new home, and strive to let the family live in the new home that has been renovated in the second half of the year." Xie Jun said with full expectation.
