25 days after the start of deconfinement, the bar of 29,000 coronavirus deaths has been crossed in France. But the decline in the epidemic seems to be confirmed, as noted in particular by general practitioners in the field. Only one in ten had a positive case in the past week.

25 days after the start of the deconfinement, the French continue every day the rediscovery of activities prohibited for weeks due to the coronavirus, and were at the rendezvous of the reopening of cafes, bars and restaurants. On the front lines of the epidemic, the 29,000 dead mark has been crossed in France, but the situation continues to improve in intensive care, with a drop in the number of patients. And the decline seems to be confirmed, as indicated by the figures of the union of general practitioners in France.

During the first week of deconfinement, general practitioners widely prescribed tests for their patients at the slightest symptom. Result, 5.6% of positive tests. Two weeks later, the same study was conducted, and gave even more encouraging figures, since only 3.6% of tests were found to be positive.

"We cannot say that the virus is no longer circulating"

Only one in ten general practitioners has had a positive case in the past week, which means that the virus is circulating less and less in the country. Another indicator in the green is the calls to the Samu concerning the Covid-19, which indicate the evolution of the epidemic almost in real time. On this side too, no increase is noted. "We are even on an almost anecdotal number of calls," says an official of the Samu.
