The cast of "Plus Belle La Vie" in 2010, for the 10 years of the series - GEISSELMANN / SIPA

While bars and restaurants can reopen since June 2, those of the bar at Roland Marci's Mistral will remain closed. Since Monday 4 May, Plus Belle La Vie has gone into replay mode to make up for the lack of new episodes, which were impossible to film due to the coronavirus health crisis. To please fans of the series, France 3 had then decided to put on the air a plot previously proposed in 2015.

But the mayonnaise (or bouillabaisse) did not take. For example, the episode of June 2 gathered only 1.24 million viewers, against an average of 3 million usually. Consequence: in order to preserve its soap opera, the public channel has decided to stop broadcasting old episodes from June 22. This is a blow for Plus Belle La Vie , two episodes of which were replayed in early May. Already, faced with bad audiences, the Three had decided to offer only one episode per night from June 1.

Alex Goude to the rescue

In place of the Marseille series, France 3 viewers will find Alex Goude and the program Jouons à la maison . First tested on the weekend, the game is played daily on Monday, June 1. As of June 22, two issues of the program will be broadcast at 8:15 p.m. and then at 8:40 p.m. As for the return of Plus Belle La Vie on the air, it will still be necessary to take its pain in patience before knowing when the series, which resumed filming, will be on our screens again.
