Hundreds of people have beaten the pavement in Pama to demand more security,  " says Today in Faso . And "  fear could not start their determination,  " continues the daily.

The rally comes two days after at least 25 people were killed at the Kompienbiga cattle market. A new bloody episode in the region which therefore triggered this mobilization.

Protesters come with demands, explains Le Faso : "  the end of violence against civilians, the installation of a military base and the launch of an administrative and judicial investigation  "

The inhabitants of Pama who send back to back "  terrorists and security forces  " explains the newspaper: "  The populations feel trapped and no longer know which saint to turn to  ".

Their anger is legitimate  " adds Observer Paalga , the populations "  being left to themselves by a State manifestly incapable of protecting them  ".

The Otapouanou operation led by the FDS since March 2019 did not stabilize things  " notes Today in Faso.

The observer Paalga also raises the question of possible "  quarrels of ego between military and political hierarchy  " to explain the lack of results in the fight against terrorist groups. Some people seem more concerned about the elections which are supposed to take place in 6 months,  " the daily squeaks.

In any case, the urgency is there: Today in Faso notes that at the time of writing the article on this event, he received the news of the abduction of 3 people in the region.

Also in the press the case of the death of judge Yanyi in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Congolese newspapers are very cautious while awaiting the publication of the autopsy report of the magistrate who was in charge of the trial of the so-called 100-day program. A trial whose main accused is the director of cabinet of the presidency Vital Kamerhe. Radio Okapi thus relays the communication of the Prosecutor's office for which "  speaking to the media would violate the investigation report  ".

But the hypotheses continue to go well, especially in the Burkinabe press. Today in Faso thus evokes the path of poisoning by asking "  who benefits from the crime  ". Not Vital Kamerhe, according to the newspaper, for whom "  it would be a very bad tactic to score as openly and clumsily against his camp  ".

The country , still in Burkina Faso, does not have the same caution and sees in it "  a crime which confirms the crime  " in the hope that "  this will not be an opportunity to drown the file  ".

The truth could take time to come out anyway

Congo Actuel thus recalls the Kenzo Mukendi Tshimanga case. The secretary general of the Congolese Taekwondo federation died three years ago in very troubled circumstances too. The information site thus indicates that the autopsy concluded in poisoning ... and relays the call of the family of the deceased "  still awaiting the opening of investigations  ".

The Congolese press which also did not fail to recall that yesterday June 1 marked the 10th anniversary of the assassination of Floribert Chebeya. The newspapers relay the press release published on this occasion by the New Congolese Civil Society for whom the affair "  remains a mystery  ". 7sur7.cd recalls that the body of Fidèle Bazana, the driver of Floribert Chebeya has never been found. And that despite the trial and the convictions, for "  human rights activists, the real perpetrators of this double murder are [still] at large  ".

Newspapers also look across the Atlantic

Tensions in the United States after the murder by a white policeman of the African-American George Floyd provoked reactions in Ghana in particular. The injustice must stop,  " says The Chronicle, which calls on the United Nations, the African and European Unions and all African leaders to strongly condemn this act.

Problem, notes Le Djely in Guinea, "  official Africa remains rather on the fringes of the debate on racism which is resurfacing in the United States  " on the contrary "  public opinion who are passionate about this new bout of fever  ".

"  It is true,  " notes the newspaper, "  that when you depend mainly on subsidies that fall from the main Western countries, there is no point in angering a leader as whimsical as the current American president  ." But according to Le Djely , "  the average African shares and espouses the feeling of revolt that has been pushing for a week many Americans to beat the pavement to denounce the racism that underlies this other tragedy  ".
