And for the occasion, thousands of tourists weaned during weeks of alcohol or even duty-free cigarettes are expected today. And a priori, they will be there.

To accommodate traffic directions have been put in place and health restriction measures have been planned by the Principality government which wants to give a breath of fresh air to its economy, centered on trade, and asphyxiated by the health crisis .

One of the concerns of the officials was to avoid the rush on flagship products as happened on May 11 at Perthus, on the Franco-Spanish border. Inside shops, a limited number of people are allowed at the same time and wearing a mask is also compulsory in shops.

The gendarmerie of Ariège, border department, recommended staggering travel to Andorra and recalled that it would conduct roadside checks, just to avoid abuse.
