Outbreak of new outpatients and inpatients stopped at Kitakyushu General Hospital for outbreaks June 1 17:25

At Kitakyushu General Hospital in Kitakyushu, where the outbreak of new coronavirus has been confirmed, the number of confirmed infections by medical staff is increasing, so we will accept new outpatients and inpatients from the 1st onwards for the time being. It will be stopped.

At Kitakyushu General Hospital in Ogura Kita Ward, 26 people including medical staff and inpatients have been confirmed to be infected by the end of last month.

Initially, hospitals stopped accepting emergency patients in principle, but the minimum necessary general outpatient and inpatient treatment was continued.

However, as the number of confirmed infections is increasing, hospitals are tightening restrictions on the acceptance of patients, and from the first day onwards, even if there is a referral, acceptance will be suspended for the time being, both outpatient and inpatient.

The hospital says, "We will work as one to promote the convergence of the infection and work toward the early resumption of emergency medical care and regular medical care."
