An investigation was opened after the fire of two vehicles claimed on an anarchist blog which says to have targeted the car of the deputy LREM of Doubs Eric Alauzet but missed its target, we learned Sunday from concordant sources. Allies and political opponents of the elected official, also a municipal candidate in Besançon, immediately denounced an "act of intimidation".

The facts, committed in the night from Friday to Saturday, were explicitly claimed Saturday in a text published on an anarchist blog called "Attack", which says to have "set fire" to the car of the deputy. Two vehicles were set on fire in a parking lot where Eric Alauzet "used to park his car", but the latter was not damaged, the Besançon prosecutor's office told AFP.

An investigation for "damage by fire" was entrusted to the Besançon judicial police who will "dig" the trail of this anarchist blog, "without closing other doors," it was added.

"Insults" and "intimidation"

"We paid a little visit (...) where is the home and the doctor's office of the deputy on the move Eric Alauzet," said a statement released on Saturday on "Attack". "After having successfully entered the parking lot of the condominium, we set fire to his personal car," write the author (s), seeming to be unaware that the act missed its target.
