Mahler Festival will be an online event with 25 streams

The Concertgebouw would be devoted to composer Gustav Mahler from 8 to 17 May, but that festival will no longer take place. Instead, there will be 25 streams of recent performances. Two special new programs will also be released from an empty Concertgebouw and ten documentaries will feature Jaap van Zweden, among others. An orchestra member will look forward to a symphony every day at 3 p.m., which can be seen every time from 8:30 p.m. From May 7, everything can be followed via the official website of the Mahler Festival.

Jeangu Macrooy gives a balcony concert on a secret location in the Netherlands on Monday on the occasion of King's Day. The Dutch entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 says that the performance can be seen on Monday from 4 p.m. via the Facebook page of the Staatsloterij.

Jack Johnson Hosts Festival From Home

Singer songwriter Jack Johnson has announced that he will host a music festival from his home this year in honor of the fiftieth Earth Day.
