To celebrate the Emirati writer's day, the UAE Writers and Writers Union is organizing a poetry festival, during the period from the fourth to the sixth of this month, with the participation of a number of poets and creators. The Secretary-General of the Union of Writers and Writers of the Emirates, Dr. Muhammad Hamdan bin Jarash, said, "This festival reflects the interest of the Writers Union in the Emirati creator, and it will be held through virtual channels, so that the public can follow the poetry evenings from a distance." He added, "The seminars and cultural evenings reflected that the son of the Emirates proved his loyalty and his ability to face crises and challenges." He expressed his thanks to the members of the organizing committee of the Poetry Festival, which consists of the poets Sheikha Al-Mutairi and Hassan Al-Najjar. The festival activities will start next Thursday, and the first poetry evening will include: the poet Hoda Amin Al Zarouni, and the poet Aisha Al-Saifia, and the session will be moderated by Amna Barot.

As for next Friday, two evening ceremonies will be witnessed, with the participation of the first two poets: Maryam Al Zarouni and Ahood Al Khalidi, and it will be directed by Nasser Al Bakr Al Zaabi, while the second evening (a poetic dialogue) will come with the Bahraini poet Mahdi Salman, and it will be managed by Salih Obaid Hassan. On the third day (next Saturday), two evenings will be organized. The first will bring together: the poet Fatima Al-Tarban and the poet Hamid Al Shamsi, and it will be managed by Dr. Fatima Al-Mamari. The second evening (a poetic talk show) will be hosted by the Omani poet Saif Al Rahbi, and managed by Maryam Hammoud.
