At around 11:57 on May 22, three people lost contact due to the collapse of the tunnel under construction of the Yongzhong branch channel of the Wudu water diversion project in Houba Town, Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province. At 20 o'clock on May 29, after 176 hours of difficult rescue by rescuers, all three trapped people were rescued and have been sent to the hospital for observation and treatment.
