"Wage earners" and drone

After driving for two hours from the urban area of Changsha, I came to the home of drone repairer Kong Fanyan-Chudong Village, Daweishan Town, Liuyang. Kong Fanyan's house is a small two-story building, and he dedicated a house to repair drones.

Entering Kong Fanyan's drone repair room, he talked about his connection with the drone.

Kong Fanyan is 38 years old and came to Shenzhen to work in 2014. By chance, he applied for a job in the after-sales department of DJI UAV.

"I haven't been in contact with drones before this time." Kong Fanyan said that he loved to disassemble and install some electrical appliances since he was a child. After graduating, he also specialized in repair and maintenance.

Kong Fanyan, who had just entered the business, didn't understand anything. On one occasion, he installed the drone's cable and caused the motherboard to burn, and he also paid more than 1,000 yuan. After studying with the master for half a year, Kong Fanyan quickly gained a firm foothold in the drone repair industry.

Kong Fanyan said that drone repair sounds very high, but as long as you understand the principles, it is an ordinary industry. "The drone repair industry is divided into professional 4S shops and ordinary car repair shops like auto repair. My current repair station is even an ordinary repair shop."

In his previous home in Liuyang, Kong Fanyan's dream was to make money and start a business, so he went to Shenzhen; as his parents grew older and his children grew up, his dream became home again. So, after two years of working in Shenzhen, Kong Fanyan returned to his hometown in 2016.

"Master of drone repair" living in the mountains

Kong Fanyan has learned to make shoes with his uncle since he was in his early tens, and he knows the truth well. After returning home from Shenzhen, he took over the cloth shoe factory from his uncle, planning to revive the declining shoe factory. This small factory is not large, but has a complete set of assembly line and more than ten workers.

After returning to Liuyang, Kong Fanyan did not immediately lose his technology for repairing drones, but worked harder than before, and the maintenance technology was more "fast, accurate, and reliable."

Just as Kong Fanyan set about developing a shoe factory, some "flying friends" he knew in Shenzhen suddenly found him, hoping to mail the broken drone to Liuyang for him to repair.

Unexpectedly, in the following days, "Feiyou" found him one after another, and all found him to repair by mailing the drone back. "Gradually, my friends have been telling me that I have come to repair it, and there are more and more customers." For a few years, although Kong Fanyan was under the mountain, he did not stay away from the drone repair industry and became a customer. In our eyes, "Drone Repair Master".

Today, Kong Fanyan can receive more than 10 drones in need of maintenance every day. "There are about 300 orders every month, all from" Feiyou "from all over the country. Now the express delivery is very convenient, some express delivery can be delivered directly to my door. After I repair it, I don't have to mail it to the town." In addition to soliciting customers on WeChat and QQ, it also set up a drone repair Taobao shop, with a fixed source of customers and repair parts supply.

Many players have been damaged by drones, and Kong Fanyan reminded that there are many reasons for the damage of drones, such as human error, machine failure, electromagnetic interference in the surrounding environment, etc., usually pay attention to drones For the safety performance, it is necessary to determine in advance whether it can take off in a special environment. If the drone falls, the main body must be recovered, and no parts will be lost as much as possible.

"Be careful during the flight. When the battery power is about 20%, it will be dropped; do not fly when the battery voltage is too large. This is an important factor that causes drone bombers." Kong Fanyan said, generally change the shell It is relatively simple to wait. If it is a problem such as motherboard damage, it is more troublesome to repair. Sometimes a drone needs to be repaired for several days.

To keep up with the times, the handmade products need to go through torment and transformation." Kong Fanyan said, he will insist on doing the cloth shoes factory.
