The first part of the final of Koh Lanta, whose filming was shaken by the covid-19 crisis. was broadcast Friday evening, before the famous pole test on June 5. So who pulled out of the orienteering and won their place for the last live round next week?

In order to keep the viewers patient until the "real" final live on June 5, TF1 proposed Friday an appetizer: the orientation test, which normally precedes the legendary pole test. This year due to the crisis, the final was cut into two parts. For this first, five candidates were still in the running: Claude, Alexandra, Inès, Moussa and Naoil.

Objective of the orienteering test: to qualify for the three places of the post test, by finding one of the three hidden daggers. For this, the candidates had to find a landmark on an island, look for a marker indicating a color and a direction to follow within a radius of 25 steps, then follow the directions ... and find the famous dagger.

Chance and orientation problems

It was Claude who got off first: in 3:15, when he had chosen the most distant landmark (the star stump) to avoid the other competitors, he found the dagger by even offering himself the luxury of help his comrades gone in the wrong direction. He therefore qualifies for the posts.

Moussa, Naoil and Inès set off in search of the plant vault, but Moussa eventually joined Alexandra who bet on azure rock. The first two find their vegetal vault, Naoil finds the tag but gets the wrong direction. And it is Inès who finds the dagger by chance, on a big stroke of luck. She is the second qualified.

Naoil joins Moussa and Alexandra, meanwhile helped by Claude. But Alexandra fell in tension after 4 hours of testing and had to be evacuated by the emergency services. The two remaining adventurers fight to find the beacon first in a very tight duel ... but at the last moment, Moussa gets the wrong direction and it is Naoil who finds the last dagger, after 5 hours of trial.

Claude, Inès and Naoil will therefore be the three adventurers to participate in the post test on Friday June 5!
