"New Corona Early Morning" Wishes collected on the net Dedication Mie Ise May 30 14:46

An event was held at a shrine in Ise City, Mie Prefecture, in which people who could not come to worship due to the effect of the new coronavirus solicited wishes on the Internet and worshiped instead.

This was done at the Futamikotama Shrine, which is famous for Meotoiwa, by a tourist association in Ise City, Mie Prefecture.

In May, two weeks were spent recruiting from all over the country on the Internet, and it means that 96 requests such as "I want the new coronavirus to disappear soon" have been collected.

On the 30th, at a shrine, a list of wishes gathered by people of the tourism association was dedicated, and the priests were having fun and giving congratulatory words. In addition, votive tablets that wrote "Wishing the wishes of all the people of Japan" were devoted to those who could not come to visit.

Noriho Hamada, chairman of the Ise City Tourism Association, said, “I worshiped with a lot of wishes because there are many people who can't do it.”
