The 100,000 dead mark has just been crossed in the United States, but more than the health situation it is the economic crisis which worries the president and many elected members of Congress. More than 40 million people have registered as unemployed since the start of the pandemic, a record in such a short period.

Publicity

Correspondents of French-speaking public radio stations in Washington have collected testimonies from Americans hit hard by the cessation of activities, in the federal capital, but also in Texas and California. An episode recorded before the Congress, where Democrats and Republicans are opposed on the means to be implemented to relieve the country of this crisis.
