The periphery more frequented than city centers

And, according to the figures obtained, "outlying businesses have seen their visitors return more quickly than those in the city center". In Nice, "we note strong disparities within the agglomeration", specifies the company.

For example, the Auchan La Trinité shopping center, outside the city, is much closer to its pre-crisis level (90%) than the shops in the center of Nice, especially on Masséna avenues. and Jean-Médecin, who count only half of their usual passers-by.

This trend could change with the reopening of bars and restaurants on June 2, announced Thursday evening by the Prime Minister. This new stage of deconfinement should bring onlookers back to the city centers.
