Muscovites expect a warm end to spring and a cool start to summer. Anatoly Tsygankov, deputy chief of the Roshydromet situational center, spoke about this in a conversation with RT.

“The temperature background today — tomorrow is still not bad, today (May 29. - RT ) we have +19 ° C, tomorrow (May 30. - RT ) +21 ... + 25 ° C, we get a little into the warm sector, and then , from Saturday to Sunday, a cold front will already pass, ”said Tsygankov.

According to the weather forecaster, on Saturday precipitation will stop by noon, but gusty winds of up to 20 m / s are expected. With it, a cooling will come to the Central region and the capital.

“On Sunday in the afternoon +15 ... + 20 ° С, on Monday in the afternoon +10 ... + 15 ° С, on Tuesday in the afternoon +10 ... + 15 ° С, on Wednesday +14 ... + 19 ° C ”, - said the head of the situational center of Roshydromet.

Nevertheless, by Thursday, June 4, the temperature will again rise to +20 ... + 22 ° C, during the day it will be cloudy and in some places there will be small summer rains.

According to the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand, on Saturday, May 30, there really will be a “wonderful day”: the rains will stop by morning, the temperature will rise to +24 ... + 26 ° C, although a thunderstorm is not excluded.

“That is, such a real summer day,” said the weather forecaster, “True and the wind will increase to 18 m / s. And then a significant drop in temperature begins. ”

Roman Villefand explained that the European part of Russia will be on the eastern periphery of a powerful anticyclone that extends from the Mediterranean Sea to Scandinavia. At the same time, cold Arctic air masses begin to move to the Central region from the polar regions.

“From Monday already, and night temperatures drop very much, to +5 ... + 6 ° C, and even to +2 ... + 7 ° C. In the afternoon, the temperature is also low: from +10 to +15 ° С, ”the expert specified.

According to Vilfand, despite the fact that such a temperature background is more characteristic for the end of April - beginning of May, “you should not be sad”, because in the middle of the first decade of June the temperature will rise to 20 degrees and above.

Frost in Siberia

According to the forecast of Anatoly Tsygankov at the end of spring, in Siberia, in the areas of Evenkia, Khatanga, Tiksi, -2 ...- 1.8 ° С is expected at night. In the Magadan region - up to -3.5 ° С.

“From Yakutsk to Chita, to Irkutsk in places, too, frosts are -2 ° C,” said the weather forecaster.

Tsygankov explained that the main area of cold air is currently located over the northern part of North America. This cold penetrates toward Lake Baikal. Accordingly, all areas in its path may be subject to frost.

“On the night of May 30 in Tuva: -2 ...- 7 ° С, May 30—31 in the Irkutsk region: -1 ...- 5 ° С. In the Central southern regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia: on the night -1 ...- 3 ° С, ”the specialist said.

The supervisor of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand also predicts frosts in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in Khakassia, and in the Irkutsk Region. There the temperatures will be quite low.

“But this, of course, is not a long freeze. I want to draw attention to the fact that this cold weather occurred after the extreme heat in the Omsk, Tomsk, and Novosibirsk regions, in the Altai Territory, the temperatures went over + 30 ° C and even reached +35 ... + 36 ° C, ”Wilfand explained.

The weather forecaster noted that a sharp change in the temperature regime leads to the occurrence of dangerous phenomena. For example, in the south of western Siberia, after a long, unnatural heat, the influx of cold air contributes to fast, “explosive” convection, which leads to negative consequences such as very heavy rainfall and hurricane winds, the speed of which in some places exceeds 25 m / s. Villefand emphasized that such conditions pose a danger to human life and disrupt normal activities in many sectors of the economy.

Walks in Moscow

Recall, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that from Monday, June 1, Muscovites will be able to go out for long walks and sports.

From June 1 to June 14, long walks and outdoor sports are allowed for all residents of the city, including Muscovites over 65 and citizens suffering from chronic diseases.

A pass for walking in the fresh air and playing sports is not necessary. However, from June 1, the mask regime will be strengthened. Leaving home, including for walking and playing sports, all residents are required to use respirators, masks or other respiratory protection equipment.
