The famous Joséphine Baker (1906-1975), singer, dancer, reviewer had a romantic life, guided in New York by her love of dance before arriving in Paris in 1925 where her stage performances were very successful. Very active in the resistance during the Second World War, she also fought against racism and segregation in the United States.
