Greg Guillotin is offering a new episode of his show "Le Pire Stagiaire" on C8 on Thursday evening. A trapped person, an accomplice entourage, a false filming and a false trainee, the hoax of the humorist and youtubeur and well honed. But we must be more and more careful not to be exposed, explains Greg Guillotin on Europe 1 Thursday.

INTERVIEW

The humorist and youtubeur Greg Guillotin offers Thursday evening on C8 a new episode of his show "Le Pire Stagiaire". The principle: trap a person, with the complicity of his entourage by making him believe that a TV channel comes to report on his job. As part of this report, she must also train an intern sent by Pôle Emploi. A false intern interpreted by Greg Guillotin. Thursday evening, the humorist traps an alarm installer, a female doctor and a rapper. Greg Guillotin tells us more in "Culture Media" on Thursday.

Two to three months of preparation for each sequence

Each trap is prepared upstream by production for two to three months in order to prepare the entire entourage for the sequence. "The whole entourage is an accomplice so it helps us a lot to get the joy of the trapped at the end who says that 'it's incredible, everyone has fooled me for two or three months'," explains Greg Guillotin. And the revelation of the trap is rather well received by the trapped.

As for Sabine, the female doctor, that spectators will be able to discover Thursday evening. Greg Guillotin then embodies Samuel, a somewhat simple-minded intern, who receives a patient, also an accomplice, to whom he asks questions that do not have to be during a medical consultation. The trap "very very well" took the revelation of the deception, notes the humorist. "I had another exchange with Sabine yesterday. She is delighted to have lived this experience," he said. "Since all the patients are accomplices, there has been no damage to his activity," he adds.

The risk of being exposed

But by dint of showing his face on television - Greg Guillotin was a columnist on the show "Touche pas à mon poste" - the humorist takes the risk of being more easily exposed. If the operation rolled over, the losses would amount to "20,000 euros". During the previous bonus, for example, the castle guide they wanted to trap discovered the trick by searching for the name of Greg Guillotin on the Internet.

The production therefore takes more and more precautions to see if the person knows the youtubeur. She sends a journalist to meet the person before the shooting by showing him the photos of potential interns including the photo of Greg Guillotin. "Now we get a lot of information from those around us with this photo system to find out if there is a chance that it will collapse," he explains. "Because it is still two to three months of preparation per episode with a lot of people on the move. So we have an interest so that there are no problems."

In 2018, Greg Guillotin was forced to reveal that certain hidden cameras shot for TPMP had been rigged. He had called on actors to play the frightened passers-by. Marked by this episode, the humorist does everything to prove that nothing is rigged in "Le Pire Stagiaire". So, to show that trapped people are never accomplices, Greg Guillotin offers hour-long making-of on YouTube that show the backstage of the show, from making contact to filming.
