Claude, (future) big winner from Koh-Lanta ? This is the wish of hundreds of thousands of people who have supported it for several weeks in "The Isle of Heroes". Fine strategist, friendly character, outstanding sportsman, the master driver has everything to please. Over the weeks, the adventurer's popularity increased when that of his opponents plummeted. After the departures of Sam, Teheiura and Jessica, the charismatic Claude stands out.
The 40-year-old adventurer is aptly named “hero”. This season, and after three appearances on the show, he breaks the record for the number of individual victories. He already held the title of champion when he landed on the island this year, but was stolen from the spotlight by Teheiura. Claude has now recovered his title thanks to his 16 victories. He could further improve his track record by winning the orienteering event and the posts. But that, we will not know before the final of this exceptional season.
An audience box
During his first participation in 2010, Claude was the first to find his statuette, synonymous with victory in the orienteering test. Two years later, he had stood longer than his comrades Maud and Bertrand on the posts. Fans of Koh-Lanta are now waiting to know if the adventurer will be able to repeat the feat in 2020 to be (finally) awarded the title of ultimate adventurer for the first time.
"The island of heroes" convinces the viewers who are always so many in front of their stations. This Friday, May 22, the shortened episode captivated 6.53 million French people for 26.3% audience share, 40,000 more than the previous week.
