One of the requirements is that actors keep at least two meters distance to each other and to the audience, not least because of the saliva secretion that occurs during vigorous action.

"For activities with heavy exhalation where drops are formed and thrown farther away from the person than during normal speech, for example by singing, screaming, acting or exerting physical effort, two meters must be kept", states the Ministry of Culture guidelines, according to Ritzau.

Furthermore, theaters and cinemas must spread the audience in the premises so that every second seat is empty, while the cultural institutions are urged to introduce number systems in ticket purchases in order to avoid queuing.

Kiss-free in Sweden

The cultural news has previously reported on how Swedish theaters plan to adapt their operations. The National Theater has not yet released its program for the autumn and the rehearsals are corona adapted.

- You don't repeat scenes where you are close or kiss each other, says theater director Dritëro Kasapi.

Even in the rehearsals of the Dramat, the actors are still two meters away from each other - but have not come so far that they have started playing full scenes yet. For the time being, the theater is working on several different scenarios for the fall premiere.

- We drive like we get open with a full audience, but we have other plans if it can't. We try to find fun concepts with how to place the audience. How to lock in the audience with safe distances can also be part of the performance, says theater manager Mattias Andersson.

- I am convinced that we will also continue with outreach theater.
