"Compared to doctors and nurses, I do really small things. I have always looked at their hard work." Recently, recalling the days and nights when the medical staff were transported to and from work during the epidemic, Zhang Guirong, the driver of the Chengdu online car rental, said to the medical staff Than, he is insignificant.

Zhang Guirong is 42 years old and a native of Yanting County, Sichuan. He is a full-time car-hailing driver in Chengdu. During the epidemic, she took the initiative to join the company's caring first aid team and took medical staff to work. She was the only female driver in the team.

In late May, the weather in Chengdu gradually became hot, and with the epidemic situation effectively controlled, Zhang Guirong resumed normal work. She has short hair, is clean and crisp, and has a loud voice when speaking. "I am a standard 'female man' and everyone in the family listens to me!"

Recalling the reason why she joined the caring team when the epidemic broke out, her tone became gentle. It was a late night in mid-February. She accidentally carried a nurse and heard the nurse said that it was particularly difficult to get a taxi during that time.

"Some drivers said it was inconvenient when they heard about going to the hospital. If they bluntly said that they were afraid of danger, I understand it, but I was not afraid." Zhang Guirong said, and later learned that the company was organizing a caring emergency rescue team to pick up medical staff for free. "I am determined to join", and also deliberately sent her husband and children back to Yanting's hometown in advance. "This way I will pick up the doctors and nurses in Chengdu alone, and I feel more at ease."

On February 20, Zhang Guirong received the first order-to send a nurse to the Fourth People's Hospital of Sichuan Province at 5 am the next day. "I asked her why she works this morning? She said that she goes to work at 6:30 in the morning and will go to 8 in the evening. She goes so early because she has enough time to change her protective clothing."

"That's a little girl. She just finished her internship and hasn't worked for two years. Her body looks very weak." Recalling the nurse who first picked up, Zhang Guirong choked slightly. "The little girl told me when she got out of the car, saying We are in contact with many people and we must pay attention to safety. "

Zhang Guirong also witnessed the hard work of the "white warrior" during the period of transferring medical staff. She said that she hadn't seen the medical staff who went to work at 8 in the morning. They all came to the hospital a long time in advance and didn't go home until 2 in the morning.

On one occasion, Zhang Guirong received an order at 7 a.m. from the northern district to the southern district of the First People's Hospital of Chengdu. "I was a little puzzled at the time. It was supposed to come home from work in the morning. Why should I go to another hospital? I called to verify that she knew that she had finished the night shift from the North District of the First People's Hospital and set off to pick up the white shift in the South District in the morning . "

Another time, the two doctors got on the bus at the same location. Zhang Guirong thought they were living in the same community, so they took a ride together. After getting in the car and listening to the doctor, she realized that the two doctors could not live in the same community. "They said that the quota is limited, and they will save a quota for another nurse."

There are many similar stories. Zhang Guirong has been touched, and has always insisted on getting up early. Tired? Are you worried? are you afraid? Facing the reporter's questioning, the hearty "female man" shook his head straightly, "Doctors and nurses are saving lives. I'm at this risk. If I can't sleep, what is it?"

Zhang Guirong frankly said that when the initial orders for the epidemic plummeted, she had thought of withdrawing from the online car-hailing industry, but picking up medical staff allowed her to find "the value of this occupation".

"During the epidemic, there are still many people who need to travel. Even if I don't make money, I must insist on getting out every day." Zhang Guirong said that from February 20 to March 13, she accumulatively served medical staff 86 trips, a total of 1121 kilometers. The caravan where she works has accumulated 1,644 medical personnel, with a total mileage of about 21,000 kilometers. She said that as a car-hailing driver, she hoped to send special care to the "white angels" in this way. (Finish)
