Scientists have registered the fastest internet connection globally in Australia, where a thousand HD movies can be downloaded in less than one second.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported that a team of "Swinburne", "Monash" and "RMIT" universities recorded an Internet speed of 44.2 terabits per second as part of a new study, the first time that speed has been registered with this amount.

This speed is completely different from the traditional speed in Australia, which is 11 megabits per second.
In this experiment, scientists used a new device instead of 80 single laser machines, in addition to an equipment known as "Microcomp" smaller than the current communications devices in terms of size.

The device has been cultivated and tested in the current Internet infrastructure, which is used by the Australian National Internet Network.

This technology can provide high-speed internet to about 1.8 million families in the Australian city of Melbourne, in addition to billions of people around the world during peak hours, according to the study.
