'Hierro' resumes filming its second season in June under a strict sanitary protocol

The landscapes of El Hierro, one of the three Canary Islands that are part of the outpost in the de - escalation of confinement by coronavirus in Spain, will become the next one in the filming location for the second season of the Hierro series. The team of this original Movistar + production will return to the lands of Herrera, currently in phase 2 , under a strict sanitary protocol defined with the Government of the Canary Islands, according to the chain.

After seeing their work interrupted last March with the declaration of the state of alarm , the series will return to the Canary Island of El Hierro to resume, from June, the filming of the second season, thus completing the ten weeks recording pending.

"

The team of artists and technicians will return to El Hierro "in stages", once they have undergone a PCR test in their usual residences . And he adds: "Upon arrival on the island they will have to pass a period of isolation and a new medical test before rejoining what will be their accommodation throughout the remaining ten weeks of filming."

The second season of "Hierro", a judicial thriller starring Candela Peña, will consist of 6 50-minute episodes and will premiere on Movistar + in 2021 .
