Other categories of National Education personnel particularly mobilized, such as nurses in schools or employees of administrative services, will also be able to benefit, we are told by the Ministry of National Education.
Negotiations to reach more public servants
“The amount of the premiums will vary between 330 and 1,000 euros: 330 euros for those who were mobilized between 4 days and 9.5 days; 660 euros between 10 and 15.5 days and 1,000 euros for those who spent more than 16 days there, "detailed AFP Catherine Nave-Bekhti, secretary general of Sgen-CFDT, stressing that this distribution is not still validated by the ministry and should be validated next week.
"But in the meantime, we ask that those who have worked less than 4 days also be affected, that Saturday days count double as is the case for Sunday day and that this distribution also concerns staff such as senior education advisers, ”she asks. These bonuses could be paid to the personnel concerned between July and September, according to the ministry.
The decree fixing the modalities of the exceptional premium capped at 1,000 euros granted to civil servants who had to face an increase in activity to fulfill their public service missions during the health emergency period had been published on May 15 in the Official Journal . The principle of this bonus, exempt from social security contributions and not taxable, had been announced by the Minister of Public Accounts Gérald Darmanin on April 15. It must concern one in five State civil servant, or 400,000 people.
