As the coronavirus pandemic continues, cultural figures from different countries remain on self-isolation. Some of them are completely immersed in creativity and are preparing to release regular projects, while others are mastering new skills.

Songs and Madness

Russian director Klim Shipenko, who shot the box-office comedy "Serf", is preparing to shoot a feature film about Sergei Yesenin. Shipenko said that the script for the tape is already ready, he now reads a lot, including about the poet, and is considering a future film.

Many cultural figures record songs and videos on the theme of coronavirus. So, Russian and Kazakhstani musicians, including Alsou, Keti Topuria, Nurlan Saburov, Elena Temnikova and others released a cover for the song of Alexander Zatsepin and Leonid Derbenev “I am looking for you”. The composition text has been changed: the new version describes life on self-isolation.

The period of self-isolation was very productive for the director and screenwriter Stephen Soderbergh. Soderberg has written three scripts over the past few weeks. The director worked on one of them earlier, but decided to rewrite it on isolation. It is known that the basis of the second scenario was the criminal novel by American David Levien, "City of the Sun." Soderberg said that he received permission from the author to adapt the novel and started the text a few years ago, but was forced to interrupt the work. During self-isolation, the director had the opportunity to return to the story and finish it.

The third script that Steven Soderbergh has been working on in recent weeks is the sequel to his 1989 film Sex, Lies, and Video (for which the director received the main prize of the Cannes Film Festival and several other prestigious awards). Soderberg also expects to make a film in this scenario.

Cooking, haircuts and make-up

Many celebrities in isolation have more time to cook. Some decided to share culinary skills with their fans.

Actor Stanley Tucci, who published The Tucci Cookbook a few years ago, began to keep a culinary diary in which he talks about his daily routine and shares recipes. Following the instructions of the artist, you can cook vegetable pasta, chicken stock, lamb ribs and Negroni cocktail.

American actress Amy Schumer, under the guidance of her husband Chris Fisher, a professional chef, directed a full-fledged mini-series about cooking at home. The first episode of the show has already appeared on the network. In addition to the recipes, the series features a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of Schumer and Fisher.

I assured him I knew what I was doing. He seemed skeptical at first, but with the help of a few treats, I talked him into it. It went so wrong, so fast. I guess some things are better left to the professionals. (He hasn't seen a mirror yet. I told him it looks great) #Quarantinelife
