Artists like Tom Jones and Einstürzende Neubauten had already announced that they would not be coming and Liseberg, who first canceled all gigs until midsummer, is now canceling the entire summer concert program.
“It feels insanely sad, but under the circumstances we think it's the right decision. We will make a comeback with an incredibly strong stage program in the summer of 2021 instead, "says Per Alexanderson, entertainment manager at Liseberg in a press release.
Liseberg does not yet know when the amusement park itself can be opened this summer. Gröna Lund's opening has also been advanced until further notice. There, the management has decided that there will be no concerts in July either. Instead, they are working to get as many people as possible in August. This applies to Disturbed, Faith No More, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Ace Frehley and Pixies.
Furuvik Park also tries to post its concerts with Lars Winnerbäck and Ace Frehley until August.
