Covid-19 positive cases are increasing in slaughterhouses. Three companies have thus become hotbeds of contamination in recent days, with in particular 71 confirmed cases (+2 cases compared to the last survey) at the Kerméné slaughterhouse in Côtes-d'Armor and 34 cases in that of Fleury-lès -Aubrais, in the Loiret. "He is currently on sick leave at home," says the company's HRD, interviewed by Ouest-France . An investigation is currently being carried out to identify all the people with whom the employee of the slaughterhouse may have been in contact in recent days.
No massive testing campaign yet
The health authorities have not yet planned to carry out a test campaign within the company as was the case on Tuesday at the Kerméné slaughterhouse where more than 800 people were screened. The results of the screenings should be known in the coming hours.
