You would not know Colombian farmer Juan Manuel Uribe that the robbery he suffered 15 years ago would change his life forever.

On one summer night, a group of armed men stole his sheep and cows, which are all his possessions, after which he struggled with poverty and the need for a long time, before deciding the direction to grow roses because they do not need great financial possibilities. After a short period, Juan Manuel had a farm where he worked more. It is composed of 82 employees, instead of just two. It is exported to several Cuban provinces and to American countries.

Juan Ranch is famous for cultivating and exporting hydrangeas, or as it is called cup of water, and it is one of the many herbal species that are distinguished by its attractive flowers. It is the flower icon in Colombia

Juan says that the hydrangea symbolizes humility, spirituality and family, and unlike other flowers it does not require expensive operating costs and blooms throughout the year, just as it cannot be stolen like cattle.
