Radios and television stations pay tribute to Michel Piccoli, whose death was announced on Monday.
France 2 broadcasts this Tuesday at 11.15 p.m. Vincent, François, Paul and the others , bringing together Michel Piccoli, Yves Montand and Serge Reggiani. Claude Sautet's film looks at the setbacks of a group of friends, often around a good table.
Another classic signed by the same director: Things of life , in which the actor embodies a man shared between his mistress (Romy Schneider) and his wife from whom he is separated (Lea Massari), will be on the program on Arte Sunday evening, before a documentary devoted to the actor.
The beautiful hazelnut by Jacques Rivette also remains available on the Arte website until October. Michel Piccoli was nominated for the César Award for Best Actor in 1992 for his role in this film.
"Le Mépris" on OCS Géants
OCS Géants will honor the actor's memory this Tuesday at 8:40 p.m. with Le Mépris , the classic by Jean-Luc Godard who revealed it in 1963, followed, at 10:25 p.m., by La Poudre d'Escampette - the two films will be also available on request on OCS.
On the radio side, after having paid tribute to him in his morning on Tuesday, France Culture will rebroadcast Sunday at 9 p.m. Gainsbourg, major poet, a reading with three voices including that of Michel Piccoli.
France Musique will celebrate it in Ciné Tempo on Saturday, with a first broadcast on May 23 on its links with the Cannes Film Festival, then two others, on May 30 and then June 6, over its entire prolific career.
