Calm has returned, Tahrir Square, in Baghdad, considered to be the heart of the protest in the fall of 2019. The protesters, still present, denounce the "kidnapping" of demonstrators, "about whom we know nothing". And this, despite the promise of the new government of Mustafa al-Kazimi to release them.

According to them, members of the movement were charged for reasons other than the demonstrations.

Families are also worried about the disappearance of people outside the dispute. Like journalist Tawfiq Al-Tamimi, who has been missing for 70 days, according to his family.
