The number of resuscitation patients affected by Covid-19 continues to decrease in France, as do hospitalizations, announced on Tuesday Jérôme Salomon, the director general of Health. 

In the space of 24 hours, France has 104 patients in intensive care less affected by Covid-19, announced Tuesday Jérôme Salomon, director general of Health, during a press conference. In addition, 69 new serious cases were admitted to intensive care, bringing the total number of Covid-19 patients in intensive care to 1,894. 

Currently, 18,468 people are hospitalized for Covid-19 infection and 506 new patients have been hospitalized within 24 hours, according to the DGS. Since the start of the epidemic, nearly 100,000 people have been hospitalized after contracting Covid-19, the DGS said.
