TVE announces reforms. The journalist Xabier Fortes will return next season to direct and present La noche en 24 , a space on Canal 24 Horas that he has already hosted during the 2011-2012 season. "It replaces Marc Sala , who will continue to be linked to RTVE with new professional projects," RTVE announced in a statement sent to the media on Monday.
According to the chain, the classic morning space will disappear as such. Next season, the breakfast schedule will be "integrated into the new morning strip that Mónica López will present ".
During the last two seasons Fortes has directed and presented the morning interview and analysis space Los Desayunos de TVE . The program averages this season a 13.6% share and 316,000 viewers. It is the highest result in odds for eight innings and the highest in viewers for six.
Xabier Fortes (Pontevedra, 1966) holds a degree in Information Sciences at the Complutense University and has spent his entire career in TVE, which he joined in 1990.
