The TV celebrity was arrested at the end of last week and has himself told about the crime in an interview with TV4.

The man appears in a section of the SVT program The Bare Truth, which addresses themes of masculinity. In the program he talks among other things about his "soft sides" such as interest in cultivation, cooking and art.

Martin Vårdstedt believes that the program's message is clouded by the TV celebrity's sex purchase and that it has therefore been decided to remove the section where the man participates from SVT Play.

“We obviously take away from what the man has said and said he did. The program was recorded last year but was broadcast recently, and I understand that the content and message of the program can be obscured by the events of recent days. Therefore, the program has been lifted out of Playtablån, ”writes Martin Vårdstedt, program manager at SVT Kultur och Samhälle, in a statement.

TV4 takes distance

The TV celebrity has gotten rid of several assignments in the suites of the recognized sex purchase. TV4 has announced that they will not use the man for further productions.

"We announced during Friday morning that he would not run any more programs with us and TV4 Media also takes away from the irresponsible act that underlies that decision," writes Charlie Forsberg, head of communications at TV4 Media in an email.

The man does not appear in any current SVT productions other than the section of The Bare Truth.

“It is not a matter of depriving the person of any assignments in this case, he is not the program manager or representative of SVT in any ongoing business. It is about participating in a sequence of a pre-recorded program, where we want to create the conditions for the audience to make good use of the content, ”Martin Vårdstedt writes.

SVT has repeatedly sought the TV celebrity who declines an interview.
