Monument of French cinema, the actor Michel Piccoli , famous for his roles in Le Mépris , by Jean-Luc Godard , The Things of Life or more recently Habemus papam , died on May 12 at the age of 94, has announced his family this Monday.
"Michel Piccoli was extinguished on May 12 in the arms of his wife Ludivine and his young children Inord and Missia, after a stroke," said the family statement, transmitted to Afp by Gilles Jacob , a friend of the actor and former president of the Cannes International Film Festival .
