"There are two levels of amazement in this program," says the former member of the jury for New Star , with, first of all, "diversity". "At the New star , we expected singers, there, we have diversity, from the little grandmother who makes hula-hoop by knitting to the four Belarusians who plant nails with their foreheads", describes- she jokingly.

"Faced with pure talent, we are just transported"

The other amazement is caused by the appearance on the scene of "pure talent". In these cases, continues Marianne James, "we are four and a half years old on average, we no longer judge and we are no longer in benevolence. We are just transported".

During these two seasons, Marianne James was able to discover numbers far from her world, and claims to have been particularly marked by acrobats. "As long as they choose the right music, the right scenography, the right lights (...) they make me forget all my certainties." And the singer also says that she "started to discover magic".
