“With deep sadness, the Russian Academy of Arts learned about the death of the Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR, Honorary Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Tatyana Ilyinichna Selvinskaya, a well-known Moscow cultural and art worker,” the press service of the Russian Academy of Arts and Politics reports.
Academy President Zurab Tsereteli noted the diverse talent and active creative position of Selvinskaya and expressed his condolences to her family and friends.
Selvinskaya has designed more than 200 performances in theaters in Moscow, Saratov, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Kostroma, Magadan, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Ufa, Tashkent, Taganrog and other cities.
Her works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Central Theater Museum. Bakhrushin, St. Petersburg State Museum of Theater and Music, Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve and others.
On May 11, Alla Meshcheryakova, Honored Artist of Russia, died.
