With his cigarettes and raspy voice, Jörn Donner often took a seemingly steadfast place in the public. In the Wild Havre - the last letter to dad, Otto Gabrielsson goes on a frantic attack against a not only absent, but an outright rejection, cultural father. 

- It was important for me not only to write this letter and send it to him, but I really wanted it to be published because there would be another testimony, Otto Gabrielsson tells the Culture News.

He is one of six children and has by Jörn Donner himself been called a "mistake". The book the son has now written is a bitter deal with the father.

- My only way was to write about this relationship and say goodbye to my dad.
