As soon as the deconfinement pronounced, between 150 and 300 "yellow vests" (which for many did not wear) resumed their habits of demonstrating on Saturday in Montpellier. This time, unlike the multiple overflows observed for more than a year, no street furniture or storefront was not ransacked.

Prohibited by the prefect of Hérault, the demonstration (not declared in the prefecture) gave rise to seven arrests: five for obstructing the circulation of the tram, one for participation in a crowd despite the summons, another for violence on depositary of public authority.

In addition, 25 demonstrators were fined for non-compliance with the measures in force during the state of health emergency linked to the coronavirus. The firefighters intervened to treat a woman, hit in the head by a baton.
