The top Chrissy Teigen - Eliot / Starface

By dint of being taken to task on networks, Chrissy Teigen has learned to take things with philosophy and to ignore trolls. But when it comes to cooking, it's another matter. Earlier this week, a user accused her on Twitter of stealing a banana bread recipe published in the 2018 edition of her cookbook Cravings .

throwback! I always forget about this but I actually did go to cooking school. it was a few months and completely expedited but it remains one of my greatest memories (when I do remember it) - but my god, the shoes. Those I would love to forget.

The recipe would be identical to that of a certain Chef Mike. "Chef Mike saw your filth and he should sue you!" Wrote the accuser in flowery language.

Oh and he called me because his NY restaurant is closed and was reading the article about you and that sparked his rage. Yes, he cooked for your family too. I told him he should do a virtual restaurant show, to show the cooking to table and how things work.

"No idea who Chef Mike is, but he probably won't be happy to hear that you, a friend, are threatening to press charges against me on his behalf," said the star. And the user added that Chef Mike was all the more ulcerated because he had to bear to see the success of the recipes and reviews of Chrissy Teigen even when his New York restaurant was closed because of the coronavirus crisis.

But who is Chef Mike?

"Please tell me who this Chief Mike is so I can talk to him." I have never stolen a recipe from anyone and I actively talk about the restaurants I like. Imagine the ego it takes to think that someone is copying you when they have never heard of you? Replied Chrissy Teigen very politely, not without slipping a hint of sarcasm.

It's not like there are a thousand ways to make a banana bread at the same time…
